Thanks again to those of you who helped us do a little bit of prep work recently and to everyone who was able to join our orientation call on June 15.

We appreciate your patience as we’re starting up this latest OSSci interest group. Please join us this Thursday, August 17, from 9–10am Pacific Time for our official kick-off meeting.

Agenda:

  • Overall goals of the group
  • Tools that are enabling reproducibility
  • Group logistics
  • Themes and topics for the rest of 2023

How to get involved:

  • Join the OSSci Reproducible Science IG Google group (to receive meeting details, notifications once the call notes have been posted, other announcements)
  • Join our OSSci community forum (for discussions, sharing resources, etc., in between the monthly IG calls)
  • Join our Slack (we’ll share the invite link during the call)

If you’d like to invite others to join this effort, please point them to our Google group.

Thanks, and we look forward to seeing and meeting you Thursday!
