Map of Open Source Science (MOSS): Next IG Call, November 11

After more than a year or concept development and prototyping, development of the Map of Open Source Science (MOSS) is now getting under way.

The interest group will be hosting its next monthly call on Monday, November 11, from 10–11am Pacific (1–2pm Eastern).

We will be joined by Peculiar C. Umeh of CHAOSS for a discussion on CHAOSS metrics, how they’re used, and what sort of discussions informed the decisions around everything.

We will also be joined by Sam Schwartz of The University of Oregon for a discussion on his work identifying and mapping research software developed and used by the US national labs.

Please join the Map of Open Source Science IG Google group for meeting details and to receive future invitations. See you there!
